How do I clean away stubborn food residues?

As with all cookware, it is easiest to clean immediately after use, while the pan is still warm and the food residue has not solidified. For stubborn food residues, boil water and add baking soda. Stir it and after a few minutes of simmering, use a wooden spoon to nudge off the stubborn food residues

After cooking with my NATURamic® cookware, I noticed some white spots and discoloration on the pan. Is this a defect?

No. This is not a defect. Depending on the composition of the cooking water, calcium deposits may remain on the pot. These deposits can be removed without difficulty using a mild cleanser or WMF Puragan® polisher (14-2834-9990) which is available at our WMF counters.

What are the quality features about NATURamic® cookware?

NATURamic® functional ceramic cookware are made in Germany and have non-porous closed surface. It is harder than steel, and is also cut and abrasion-resistant. It is nickel-free, therefore suitable for people with allergies.

Is the NATURamic® cookware dishwasher safe?

We recommend hand wash with little soapy water with soft dishcloth or sponge. You can use NATURamic® cookware in the dishwasher but this may led to discolouration of the handle and the surface because of the aggressive detergent in the dishwasher soap. However it does not impair the function.

I tried to cook eggs with my NATURamic® cookware and they stick. I thought it’s supposed to be non-stick?

WMF NATURamic® cookware is not 100% non-stick as it is not coated with any non-stick material. Rather, due to its non-porous surface, it requires very little oil and can cook as well as a non-stick cookware. Eggs are especially delicate and are very susceptible to overheating. In order to cook the best eggs, you must reduce the heat and, use oil or butter. During cooking, WMF pans require very little heat compared to other pans because they have amazing heat retention. This results in great energy savings for you.
