Four coloured dumplings

These dumplings bring together crunchy water chestnut, sweet carrots, fresh shrimps and shiitake mushrooms, creating delicious pockets of colour that is bursting with flavours.

Ingredients

    • 200g
      Minced pork
    • 150g
      Fresh Shrimp
    • 4
      Water Chestnut
    • 5
      Shiitake Mushrooms
    • 1
      Carrot
    • 1
      Yellow Pepper
    • 1/2
      Broccoli
    • Shallot
    • Ginger
    • 2 teaspoons
      Oyster Sauce
    • 250g
      Flour
    • 1/2 spoon
      Pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon
      Salt
    • 1 teaspoon
      Cornstarch
    • 125ml
      Warm Water

Step 1

Mix flour with warm water and stir evenly. Sprinkle corn starch on the flour dough and set aside for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Prepare the dumpling filling. Mix the minced pork, shrimp, water chestnuts, shallots, ginger, oyster sauce, salt and pepper evenly.

Step 3

Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough into small, thin, round pieces.

Step 4

Scoop the filling into the dough pieces and wrap them into flower shapes.

Step 5

Steam the dumplings. Place the dumplings in the steamer once the water starts to boil. Switch to heat setting 1 and cover with lid for 5 minutes. When the dumplings are done, switch to zero gear and release pressure.

Step 6

Dumplings as colorful as spring are best served with vinegar.
